Personalised Learning Plan

A standard feature of our technology, available to all our clients is the ability to create ‘Personalised Learning Plans’ and feedback, based on the performance of the candidate.

Their performance on each section and the questions marked incorrect can automatically create a ‘Personalised Learning Plan’ to address and remedy the skills gaps identified.

Links to any learning resource such as e-learning, presentations, video’s, documents and blogs can be presented based both on their score on each topic (for example if under 40%, 41-60%, 61-70% etc) and each individual question marked incorrect, as well as feedback and recommendations such as further reading or to attend classroom based training.

This enables individuals to identify their own skills gaps and training needs and take responsibility for their own learning. This has driven engagement and adoption in e-learning, guiding individuals to the resources recognised to genuinely add value and remedy their knowledge gaps.

Where links to external resources are provided, these are tracked and ‘ticked’ once clicked, to help the candidate through any learning plan.

Clients such as Microsoft have used this to help guide both employees, partners and customers to develop their knowledge and skills, by providing tools to guide each person through a learning plan based on their own needs.

An example of this is the Windows 7 Learning Portal, developed to provide the confidence and competence to IT Professionals to deploy Windows 7. The self-assessment programme provides 11 modules to identify the knowledge gaps for each IT Pro and guide them to the resources publicly available to remedy those, before re-testing and gaining a personalised ‘Record of Achievement’. To further promote the learning journey, they are then encouraged to use their newly acquired knowledge to become certified through more formal assessments.
